Napoleon Hill, America's most beloved motivational author, devoted 25 years to finding out how the wealthy became that way. After interviewing over 500 of the most affluent men and women of his time, he uncovered the secret to great wealth based on the notion that if we can learn to think like the rich, we can start to behave like them.
By understanding and applying the thirteen simple steps that constitute Hill's formula, you can:
- achieve your goals
- change your life, and
- join the ranks of the rich and successful
Think and Grow Rich is considered by many to be the father of all self development or wealth creation books. It features in the libraries of nearly all people who are interested in bettering themselves or who wish to learn the laws of success.
Think and Grow Rich came about after an interview the young journalist Hill had with the Scottish US steel magnate Andrew Carnegie. Always interested in what made people successful Carnegie wished to search out reasons why successful people were so. He saw something in Hill and challenged him to research the subject so he could teach the world. The result of hundreds of interviews and twenty years of work was Think and Grow Rich.
The simple and yet profound message of the book is that with the right attitude and understanding of the power of your mind, you can achieve anything. This belief is summed up by his famous line, "Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe it can achieve", a statement used the world over by motivational, marketing and self-development exponents.
The message is quite simple, you can have anything you want in life if you desire it enough.
Although the book was written half a century ago and the language can seem little out of date, the principles of the successful examples of the early 1900's to 1930's still hold true today.
